Look at me, here I am. It's been like 4 months.

I cut my dreads off on March 9th. Anyone want one?

I've been dating the most wonderful man ever for one month now. I've never been more perfectly matched. It scares me sometime. Makes me believe in soulmates. Anyway, his name is Aaron. All of you should meet him. It's weird how much he actually reminds me of Josh. Not weird, but terrifying. Yeah.

And I want to take Aaron to ATF.. we were just talking about our past experiences at ATF last night. But I don't know WHEN ATF is... don't know how much the tickets at. Where it is. You know. I don't know ANYTHING about it this year. So, umm.. someone call me.

Friday, November 25, 2005

Hahahaaa... No, I don't think I'll be doing 21 shots.

At least, not right in a row. :P

My mom's taking me out to 4 different bars I grew up at: Charlie's [Albion], Shooters [meh, Duck Lake-ish], Hotel Tavern [Springport], and then to the ONONDAGA TAVERN!!!!!!!!!!! Prolly be there around 9 or 10, if anyone wants to stop by.. or call and see if I'm there: 517-414-9163.

Yeah.

Now, must get ready! Going to go have food, then shop, then head out to the bars....

No, I don't plan on getting 'wasted'.
Hey - stop looking at the screen in disgust like that.

Monday, November 21, 2005

Hmm hmm hmmm.... Okay, here I am.

I quit my job at RadioShack because I got a job at Olive Garden.
The chick singer for Hope for August works there, too. XD
I swear Hope for August is the BEST band I have ever heard that has come out of Jackson. Yes.

Anyway, I start my training today... gotta be in at 2pm.. then I train tomorrow and Wednesday, have Thursday [Thanksgiving] and Friday [MY 21ST BIRTHDAY] off, and then back to training on Saturday and Sunday.

And that's really the only thing that's changed in the last month...
Oh, wait - the heater in my car died, too.
So I'm driving around in freezing weather with no heater :P
That's crap.

Okay... that's about it I would guess... Sorry, I haven't really been reading ANYBODY'S xanga's for a while... not because I don't like you or anything, but just because I'm lazy and I honestly haven't been on xanga at all for the past month. I get bored with it so easily.

Right.
Run away!

Friday, October 21, 2005

Hey, Christian friends.. I asked you a question on Wednesday!

Go read it here.

Thanks!!!
Love you!

Wednesday, October 19, 2005

From Wikipedia:

DIVINATION:
-- "Spontaneous divination. An unconstrained form of divination, free from any particular medium, and actually a generalization of all types of divination. The answer comes from whatever object the diviner happens to see or hear. Some Christians and members of other religions use a form of bibliomancy: they ask a question, rifle the pages of their holy book, and take as their answer the first passage their eyes light upon."

Now, how many of you Christians out there have done that... NOT realizing it was a form of divination? I know that *I've* done it before...

"However, in the Judeo-Christian Bible most forms of divination are strictly forbidden by God."

"Most" forms?
Now I'm quite interested - which, if any, forms of divination are NOT forbidden by God?

I recall some king or someone using astrology frequently.
And don't they cast lots? That would be sortiledge divination.

What makes those forms okay, but not tarot cards?
Why can I cast lots and interpret the stars, but reading your palm or consulting a deck of cards is grounds for being stoned to death?

Wednesday, October 19, 2005

A friend in MA crocheted a dread cap for me! :D
I just got it yesterday.

He keeps bringing up things I've never even thought of before, and therefore I have no answer.
So I was just curious as to what all you Christians think about some stuff.....

I mentioned that Christian persecution would happen worldwide, and if you've read Revelations you would know this.

He said...

I've read revelations. The very first verse is "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:"
--almost 2000 years is shortly?
1:3 " Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."
--Doesn't that mean "very soon"? Then he goes on to say 4 verses later "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him;"
--But those people can't see him, they're dead.
The book is a story by John, it's nothing special just crazy rantings. Then again I guess it goes well with Jesus's own crazy rantings.
Didn't he say "But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God" in Luke 9:27? Hum... weren't all the deciples killed shortly after Jesus's death? And what about Luke 21:32? "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled." Lets see... A generation is roughly 20 years. He died at 33. Some schoalars say he could have been born as late as 30 C.E. 63+20=83. 2005-83=1922. Nineteen thousand twenty-two years and still waiting. That's not even taking into account that he said "this generation" and he said it before he died, but yeah. Yeah, sorry, I don't really understand how anyone could read that book and still believe in it.
I really don't understand how Revelations remained in the bible, but other catholic books were taken out because they didn't make sense.

I know everyone is praying this and praying that, and I know that of all religions, Christianity is the one to fear most, as far as consequences for NOT following it go... so it would make sense to be Christian for that simple fact of saving yourself from hellfire. *shrug*

Yeah, I know it, I've experienced it. I know He's "knocking on my door".

I know that I'm also in denial right now.

And I'm tripping over toys on my way to answer the door.
I know this.

I'm buying time. Trying to figure things out.
Because I've been too hurt to trust him right now. I feel utterly betrayed by that "God"..

And right now, at this point in my life, I really want nothing to do with him.
That's just the way it is.

I figure that later on, I'll come to understand what happened and why.
But I'm not strong enough to accept it right now. I can't accept it without knowing why.
And in this denial, I find things, arguments, so much easier to understand.
So many things just don't make sense anymore about Christianity.
So many things just rub me the wrong way.

Not saying that I'll never come back.
Just that right now, I can't.

Sunday, October 09, 2005

WOW!!!

I just had the COOLEST converstaion with a couple girls from New Tribes. :D
They came into my store [RadioShack], said they had an assignment or something, and just wanted to ask questions about what we believed, and what our thoughts were on [the Christian] God, and death and all this stuff.

It was a REALLY awesome converstaion... killed about an hour here at work, too, haha. But the conversation was good. Ed was nice, and took care of all the customers while I sat and talked with them. I basically ended up telling my life story, haha.

The conversation really made my day.
And I can't put my finger on why...

Anyway, I gave them my xanga so they should be around
